This trophy is awarded annually—to the producer that harvest the largest cluster from their orchard for the current harvesting season.

Fire-fighting preparedness is the name of the game — Always be ready
Hillcrest farm General Manager, Piet Botma says, “A veld fire fire-fighting plan is absolutely essential in the dry winter months.” Veld fires cause immense damage. Suitable fire-fighting equipment must always be ready and in a serviceable condition. Part of Hillcrest’s fire-fighting plan includes checking that all 8 of the farm’s fire-engine units are started and tested, every Friday.
Seen here, the workshop where farm implements and fire-fighting equipment is routinely serviced and prepared for veld fire-fighting on the farm/ranch.
